Anyway, I ended up shortening about 2" shorter than the stock PTFE tube. Shortening the tube will improve retraction, because you can lower it. So will getting higher quality tube.

WebSounds like it could be clogging due to Bowden tube gap. Here’s a good resource. A similar problem can happen in an all metal hot end. Also, retractions can cause a similar clog.
