WebFirst, general chemistry is mostly irrelevant to organic. The main things you need to be rock solid on as a foundation are acid base chemistry, the major periodic trends (electronegativity, etc), and orbital theory/hybridization. Second, organic very much builds on a set of principles. Particularly the differences between E1, E2, Sn2, and Sn1. WebStereochemistry will take some spatial reasoning, and that just comes down to being comfortable with visualization. Take good notes and never skip out on drawing a reaction. Don't worry about being weak in math. I was incredibly average in chem 1 & 2, but organic just clicked with me. Hope it goes the same for you!
